Building Hope Through Education
Current Projects
Education for All Initiative
Education is the foundation of opportunity, but for too many children in Kenya, school fees create an insurmountable barrier. Our Education for All Initiative removes this obstacle, ensuring that financial constraints don't determine a child's future.
What We Do:
- Pay school fees for children from vulnerable families
- Provide school supplies and uniforms
- Support transportation costs for children in remote areas
- Offer tutoring and academic support for struggling students
Impact Metrics:
Girls' Empowerment and Health Program
When girls miss school due to menstruation, they fall behind academically and are more likely to drop out permanently. Our comprehensive girls' program addresses both the practical and educational aspects of this challenge.
Program Components:
- Monthly distribution of sanitary pads and undergarments to girls in three partner schools
- Health education workshops covering reproductive health, hygiene, and life skills
- Mentorship programs connecting girls with successful women role models
- Scholarship opportunities for exceptional female students
Measurable Outcomes:
Community Support and Development
Strong communities create strong schools. Our community development work addresses the broader social and economic factors that impact children's education.
Key Initiatives:
- Support for a children's home serving 30 disabled children
- School renovation projects improving learning environments
- Widow empowerment programs providing skills training and micro-loans
- Community health education and awareness campaigns
